Description
This publication consists of a 1:50,000-scale, surficial geologic map of Wayne County and a file geodatabase containing the geologic data shown on the map. Between 2006 and 2011, all but the southernmost quadrangles in Wayne County were published as open-file surficial geologic maps by the Pennsylvania Geological Survey. These maps were modified and released as a layer on the web-mapping application PaGEODE. In 2022, Johnson mapped the remaining quadrangles and compiled them with the earlier work to create the Wayne County surficial geologic map.
