Use this interactive map to discover a wide variety of information about Pennsylvania geology, including access to publications.

Here are some tips to get started:

• Click Layers on the left sidebar to see available Geology data and to turn data layers on and off.
• Quickly turn on data for popular thematic maps using the Themes on the map.
• Use the searches in the left sidebar to view and extract information on bedrock geology, surficial geology, quarries, water wells, and springs, as well as to find and download Pennsylvania Geological Survey publications.
